The Brady Bunch Episode #2
Episode #2 “A Clubhouse Is Not a Home”
Mike and Carol are having difficulty getting their two families adjusted to living in one house.
Carol’s three daughters Marcia, Jan, and Cindy decide to move out of the Brady house and into the boy’s clubhouse. When Greg, Peter, and Bobby find out about their intentions the boys turn them down. The girls think the boys are being unfair so they protest by picketing. The boys tell the girls that it is fair because the clubhouse is theirs.
Mike and Carol solve this latest Brady crisis by telling the kids that they need to learn how to get along and begin sharing. To help them make this parenting decision they attended a Family Planning cource at the local community college. Keep up the good work
The Brady Bunch Episode #1
Episode #1 “Dear Libby”
Mike and Carol have been fighting and the Brady kids believe that it’s their fault. Later, Marcia reads a letter in an advice column, “Dear Libby”, about a family exactly like theirs in which one of the parents is extremely unhappy.
This leads Marcia to draw the conclusion, in typical Brady fashion, that either Mike or Carol wrote the letter. She shows the letter to the other kids and together they devise a plot to keep their newly formed family together.
The Brady Bunch Pilot Episode
Pilot Episode “The Honeymoon”
In the series pilot, Mike Brady, a widower with three boys, marries Carol Martin, a widow with three girls. And, yes it’s the way they became the Brady Bunch!
Mike and Carol’s wedding day festivities progress smoothly until the family pets wreak havoc on the family-blending ceremony. Just as the minister says “I do” Mike’s dog, Tiger, gets loose and chases Carol’s cat, Fluffy, through the wedding party. Chaos breaks loose which prompts Mike and Carol to yell at their kids to control their pets.
After the chaos, Mike and Carol start their marriage by disciplining their children before leaving on their honeymoon leaving everyone feeling uneasy about the day’s events until Mom and Dad come up with a way to patch things up. Next time leave the pets at home.
Feeling guilty over yelling at the kids Mike and Carol go back to the house and grab the boys and girls and they head back to the hotel. Now instead of a honeymoon for two its a honeymoon for eight. Or, should I say 12 as Cindy brought her doll, Jan brought Fluffy, and Alice brought herself and Tiger. So much for getting lucky on their wedding night…
